This artwork is the epitome of abstraction as visual language. As I attempt to document the human experience, this artworks is a positive and playful perspective. Unusual and random marks create an interesting composition. Like a game of eye-spy, the viewer is invited to look creatively at the different shapes and tones. The addition of blue pastel in three places grounds the drawing the bring it together, and guides our eyes around the artwork.
This works is dynamic and playful. It’s perfect for any room. This is one of my personal favourites.
